Peace of mind throughout tax investigations

The Inland Revenue's random case selection and specific targeting of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies has seen collections boosted by billions of pounds. Through no fault of your own, you could find yourself facing:

• A Full Enquiry considering all aspects of the self-assessment tax return, involving a comprehensive review by HM Revenue & Customs of all books and records underlying the entries made.
• A VAT dispute: challenging the accuracy or completeness of submitted returns.
• A PAYE & NIC dispute challenging the accuracy or completeness of returns submitted in accordance with PAYE and Social Security Regulations.
• An Aspect Enquiry looking into one or more aspects of the self-assessment tax return.

PFP offers insurance that pays up to £75,000 towards the inevitable accountant's fees, in the event of a tax investigation. Packages include:

• TaxMaster Protection: PFP will pay all Professional Fees incurred in dealing with Full Enquiries and VAT disputes that start and are notified to PFP in writing during the period of insurance. TaxMaster Protection includes an option to extend cover to include Aspect Enquiries.
• PAYeMaster Protection: PFP will pay all approved Professional Fees incurred in dealing with PAYE disputes and NIC disputes that start and are notified to PFP in writing during the period of insurance.
