PfP supports the Ardonagh Community Trust to help raise over £90,000

by raising money for Go Green Day 2019!

On Thursday 10th October, team PfP proudly ‘went green’ and joined over 7,000 colleagues from across the Ardonagh Group in green themed activities, to help raise valuable funds to support communities across the UK to become better, brighter and stronger.

The day included an Ardonagh Radio station, which linked all Ardonagh businesses together throughout the day, and allowed us to share all the crazy happenings within all the offices. Here at PfP, we showed our support in true style and gave our building (and our staff!) a green make-over, held a "PfP does bake off!"  competition, put our senior management to the test in our ‘Super Senior Showdown!’ quiz and we even had our very own ‘human juke-box’! We were blown away by the passion, creativity and generosity of our team and the rest of the Ardonagh family.

All our fundraising efforts combined with funds raised by other companies within the Ardonagh Group and a £25,000 contribution from Ardonagh themselves, together with a generous donation of £10,000 from shareholders HPS and MDP, meant that the grand total raised on the day was over £90,000. This far exceeded any of our expectations and quite frankly left us all a little speechless! Through ACT, employees will now be able to make an even bigger difference to local communities and worthwhile causes.

ACT was launched back in November 2017 with a simple mission – to use the power of The Ardonagh Group and its 7,000 strong workforce to raise funds to support making positive changes within the local communities that we work in. As part of the Ardonagh Group, PfP employees are privileged to have access to ACT’s financial support programme, which awards grants and match funding to support causes close to their hearts. We’re also focused on rallying our collective efforts to support our chosen national charity partner, Mind which works tirelessly to ensure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

In its first full year, over £500,000 was raised for ACT and over £273,000 was donated to causes shared and passionately championed by Ardonagh employees via grants. ACT is a platform to support the fantastic community and charity efforts of employees from every member of The Ardonagh Group.
