2019 HMRC TAX INVESTIGATION CPD WORKSHOP SEMINAR
Irwin Mitchell, One St Peter's Square, Manchester, M2 3AF
Tuesday 4th June 2019
Join us on Tuesday 4th June from 8:30am - 11:05am, for a fantastic workshop seminar focusing on HMRC Tax Investigations! HMRC are under constant pressure to raise money through Compliance Checks. Knowing how to deal with HMRC enquiries on a practical level is essential knowledge in a world where HMRC are driven to collect more tax. Knowing what they are due and when and how cases are being selected has become even more important. These things can affect how much tax clients pay! Our seminar will focus on all of these important issues and much more.
Our host, Kevin Igoe of PFP, has seen over 20,000 tax enquiries and disputes and is chairman of the annual UK Tax Investigations Conference. He is a recognised expert in dealing with HMRC and regularly comments in the national press on HMRC matters. He will present these interactive workshops where delegates will be able to run through a case study whilst picking up very valuable practical tips on dealing with HMRC. He will cover the documentation issued by HMRC – what it means and what should and should not be delivered to HMRC as well as some of the tactics to use.
These workshops will be of real value to anyone who receives information requests from HMRC and we strongly recommend you send at least one person from your firm to this event. Previous delegates have commented how useful they found the workshop.
This workshop will also feature talks from our guest speakers on the following topics!
- Capital Allowances with Andrew Stanley of STax, one of the UK's leading Capital Allowances experts
- The legal aspect of a tax enquiry with Irwin Mitchell
